Brittany and Jack met me at Jester Park in Des Moines, Iowa for a romantic date night caught on camera. They originally connected with me through Instagram and resonated with my photography style through it’s cinematic, unposed, and documentary approach. They were seeking a photographer that truly captured their love in motion. With the help of my curated moods boards that I offer to every client, we planned a romantic shoot that truly felt like them.

Unique Couples Session Ideas

After browsing through some ideas I sent over, Brittany and Jack landed on a few couples session concepts. Those ideas included frolicking in a field, a bike date, and a romantic picnic. The open, golden fields of Jester Park in Des Moines, Iowa gave us the perfect place to adventure around and create some magic. At the beginning of our session, I used a few different prompts to help generate movement and get them comfortable in front of my camera. After that, they hopped on their adorable bike, rode it around, and were so full of a playful love for one another. We finished our session with a picnic by a dreamy, quiet pond a little deeper into the park. They split a bottle of their favorite wine, enjoyed some pastries, and I documented it all in real time.
